The Perfect Fit for Collared Shirts

One of the most common requests we get, specifically from men, is, “What can I do to my dad or grandpa or whoever’s old collared shirt?” The answer is, almost anything!

Starting at the top we can make a simple collar adjustment to make the collar wider or tighter by just moving a button.

Next, we can take that wing out of the sleeve by tightening up the sleeve from the bicep all the way to the wrist. We can also shorten the sleeve by resetting the cuff entirely.

To tighten up the body for a slimmer look we can add shaping darts to the back or take the shirt in on the sides all the way through the sleeves and body through the side hem.

Finally we can shorten up the shirt tails by removing as much as three inches from the bottom.

With all these simple changes the shirt will be looking brand new and slicker than ever!
